The 30 Radici wines at Identità Golose 2009
Tuesday 3rd February, the tasting of the winner wines from the third Radici edition will be hosted at the Sala Rosa of the Milan Convention Centre within the international congress of the cooking art – Identità golose 2009 -
“Thanks to the support of the Regional Department of agri-food resources and to Unioncamere Puglia, we got a great opportunity to bring our wines to the attention of the world gastronomy’s protagonists. These wines mark our local identity, our experiences, our places and environments, microclimates, landscape, perfumes, variety and richness belonging to Apulia” points out Nicola Campanile. His passionate support for these questions together with Pasquale Porcelli and Enzo Scivetti, being directly involved into wine and agri-food productions in Apulia and Mezzogiorno, have so intrigued Paolo Marchi, event patron in Milan, that has immediately recognized the excellent way Radici was managed preserving adequate space at Identità Golose congress for the tasting of those wines selected during the edition 2008. From 1st to 4rt February, the Gotha of cooking art, will propose new approaches and consolidate recent experiences to go down in the annals, proposing new points of view to open future prospective concerned with both taste and health related to good eating and drinking habits. There will also be journalists, experts, amateurs and onlookers that will open a considerable window.
The tasting will be led by the skilled and sensitive enogastronomes Enzo Scivetti and Pasquale Porcelli from 1.30 p.m. Negroamaro, Nero di Troia, Aglianico del Vulture, Primitivo, rosé and sweet wines from native wines are the categories among which two juries, one made up of experts and the other composed of wine lovers, selected the winner labels of the last Radici edition joined by 90 cellars proposing 150 wines last June.
Together with the tasting, the talent Chef Domenico Cilenti of Porta da Basso Restaurant in Peschici will prepare Apulia food and products.
